March 2–6, 2020, found me with my dear friend Louise Bengard at a photography workshop in Death Valley. It was offered by Visionary Wild and led by Michael Frye and Jerry Dodrill. Our lodging and classroom sessions were at the Stovepipe Wells Village Hotel. Each day before sunrise and after sunset we visited different locations within the park to take advantage of photographic opportunities; they included the incomparable Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, as well as the Salt Flats and Rivulets, Titus Canyon, Zabriskie Point, and Salt Creek. I extend huge thanks to Michael and Jerry for excellent instruction. I also thank them and fellow photographers for their warm companionship, with extra special thanks to my dear friend Louise for driving us there, making me yummy coffee each morning, and sharing many wonderful moments and good laughs.
