In February of 2014 I traveled with leader Ted Cheeseman of Cheesemans’ Ecology Safaris, and friends Sally Lentz and Martha Stewart, to the island nation of Dominica in the Lesser Antilles of the Caribbean. Sperm whales are in the deep offshore waters where they feed on giant squid. This was my second trip with Cheesemans to Dominica for the purpose of being in the water with sperm whales.
